Football

These past few weeks have been kinda crazy.

The kids are getting used to being back in school. Ashley has band practice @ 6:45 in the mornings so we leave the house at 6:30 so I take her and then I take Brady and Sam to school because their bus comes at 6:50 and there is not enough time to get back home. Cody has football practice every day after school so Lee picks him up. In exchange for Dan watching Brady after school, Lee picks up Ben also. Lee has been having football practice 2 times a week for his team and then Cody & Sam have practice on Fridays for their flag football team. Talk about running around! Monday night Lee has his first game. Cody's school team has their first game on Tuesday and then Cody and Sam have their first flag football game on the 20th. Cody made the A team and we are very proud!!

We had a BBQ with Dan and Brandy last Sunday and we all had a great time. All the kids seem to get along so well. Labor day we just hung out at home and was lazy.

Brady made it the first 2 days of school without getting in trouble but the third day he got put on yellow for not listening. He has had two more bad days but he seems to be adjusting now. He loves riding the bus and going to Dan's afterschool. He gets so mad at his dad when he picks him up from the bus:) So even if Lee gets home before they do, he comes home and waits a little while before picking him up.

Yesterday, Brandy and I took all the kids swimming at the pool. After we got done we went to her house and made tuna melts. I had never had one before and it was very good. Something that I will make in the future. All the boys ended up staying over there last night so it was just Lee, Ashley and me at home. Too quiet!!

Today, we went swimming again. While I came home to finish some laundry the boys were at Brandy's making chocolate chip cookies. She spoils these kids!! The boys are now taking turns at getting baths and will then head to bed. Ashley works til 11 tonight, which irritates me because she has school tomorrow. At least she doesn't have band on Mondays and can sleep a little later before getting on the bus.

Not much else to report. Other than alot of football practice, it has been pretty lazy at our house.
