Cody's first tackle football game.......

Tonight was Cody's first tackle football game. I was a little worried, because he has never played tackle before but he did a good job. He is a little weary about blocking, I don't know if he is afraid that he is going to hurt someone or if he is just a little nervous. Lee told him that he needed to be more agressive. Anyway, here are a few pictures of him tonight:

I still can't believe how grown he looks:) What happened to my baby??

His team lost 12-6 but he is not discouraged.

Brady has had 2 purple days at school this week. Purple is the best. We told him that he will get $1 for everyday that he is on purple. He needs a little incentive and he is so excited.

Lee had his first flag football game last night at 7. Me, the boys, Ben, Nate, Alyssa, their dad and Joey all went. Lee loved the support that he had. He was all smiles. His team lost also, 20-6 but they all had a good time.

We have become good friends with Dan & Brandy (Ben, Nate and Alyssa's parents). It is good to have friends who you have so much in common with. Saturday night we are going over there to play cards. We are planning a BBQ for the 20th and then that Sunday we are all going to Austin Park & Pizza to celebrate Brady's birthday. They love the boys and spoil Brady. Brandy applied for a job at my work and should hear something this week. If she gets it, we are going to carpool that way Ashley can have the car for Band and work. It will sure keep me from so much running. Our fingers are crossed and we have been praying that she gets the job.

Ashley is doing well in school and is still working at Taco Bell. We have talked some about colleges and right now she is not sure where she wants to go. She talks about Texas State some times and then talks about UT or A & M other times. She has even mentioned University of North Texas. Wherever it is, I hope it is not far and I know that she will do fine wherever she goes. She is taking her SAT again in October because "she" thinks she didn't do well the first time. Lee has instilled such wonderful study habits in her.

Not much else to report.

Hope all is well. Love ya!
