First Day of School

Today was the first day of school. Below are some pictures that I took:

I was close to tears and if I would have stayed any longer, I probably would have cried. Lee and Ashley went with me to drop off Sam and Brady. When we got into school, Sam wanted to go upstairs to his class all by himself. Can't say that I blame him, he is in the 5th grade. We took Brady to his class and got him to his seat, then Lee had to say "let's go" so I would leave.
Cody didn't want me to take him to school. All his friends were riding the bus.
Everyone seemed to have a good day. Brady told me when I called him after he got home that he started crying after I left this morning. I felt horrible, but I knew he probably didn't cry long. He loved riding the bus and looks forward to going to Nate's afterschool. As a matter of fact, he was mad that Lee picked him up from the bus today because he wanted to go over there. He seems to be worn out which is a good thing:) Cody begins afterschool football practice tomorrow. It will be hard for me to adjust that he is no longer playing flag and that he is playing tackle. I guess I will have to get over it.
