Ashley has registered for 2 ACC classes this summer. They are free and she only has to buy the books. Classes will be at the other high school here in Kyle and she attends Monday and Wednesday nights from 6-9:30. She is getting a jump start on college. We are keeping Brady in daycare for the summer instead of having her watch him, so she has the opportunity to work more hours and attend her classes.
Only 13 more school days left. They get out on the 30th. I can't believe that I will then have a SENIOR, 7th grader, 5th grader and one in kinder. This is crazy, where did the time go??
Work is good for Lee and I both. This week is our National Sales Meeting at the Hilton in Austin so today I was in meetings from 1-5 pm. All of the sales people from around the United States are here. It is a good opportunity to put faces with names of people that we talk daily on the phone with. The majority of our big Clients are here presenting. I have meetings in the morning and will be back in the office after lunch. Wednesday morning is more meetings and then we have fun day. We got to choose from Golf, relaxing by the pool or the segway, which we get a close up tour of downtown Austin. I chose the segway. After the fun is over we have a dinner at the Hilton. Lee will pick up Brady since I will be late getting home.We found out a few weeks ago that we were appointed the broker for the Mars (M & M) business so we are looking forward to embarking on that and learning more.
Lee was in Fort Bend County on Friday for the "Battle of the bootcamps". He left at 4am and got home at midnight. Long day!!
Last Thursday (May 1) Ashley and I went to see Kenny Chesney. A girl she works with bought alot of tickets and was selling them to her friends. I don't think I was intended to go but I think that I was a last resort. Oh well, we had a blast. I got home from work, changed clothes and then we headed to Austin. We stopped and ate dinner and then went to the concert.

That Saturday, Brady had a game. The rest of the day, we spent relaxing. On Sunday, Lee took the boys to the river and I did some major cleaning.
This past Saturday we only had 1 game so afterward we came home and took a nap. After nap we decided to wash the vehicles. Ashley then took Lee's car and vacuumed it out and cleaned the inside. She hates that the car gets dirty when Lee and the boys have been in it. Hopefully soon she will get her own car.
On Sunday Lee went into work early. He always gives the kitchen ladies off on Mother's day and him and some of the other staff cook for the bootcampers. I think that is so sweet. When he came home, they gave me my Mother's day present. They had gotten me a garden statue of squirrel and 4 glass flowers (one for each kid) on sticks that we put around the squirrel. He always makes Mother's day memorable for me. We then took a nap. After nap, we went to the river and just chilled. We took a walk and it was so refreshing.
We are planning a camping trip in June with Betsy, Burlon and Travis. The boys are so excited. We are going to the "crater of diamonds" in Arkansas and Lee is determined to find a diamond:) I have printed out a camping checklist and have already been putting things in a box.
We are supposed to go to Schlitterbahn June 9th with Taco Bell. Every year they have 2 days that the employees and their families can go. Asley, Lee and I will get in free and we will pay 1/2 price for the boys. We went last year and had so much fun. The park is still open to the public, but Taco Bell cooks bbq that we get to eat. We also got Taco Bell flip flops and T-shirts.
I thought that Kinder registration was on April 30th but it had been posted wrong so I will go on May 15th and register Brady. Whew! Only 4 more months of daycare!!
OK, i think that I have captured everything in this post.
Love ya!!
