Baseball, visitors, band concert, swimming and All Stars:)

We have been very busy finishing up the baseball season. We have 1 game left for Cody on Tuesday.

I got Brady registered for Kinder on the 15th. It was bittersweet. I am glad that we will be saving money not having to pay daycare, but on the other hand, I have realized that I have no babies left:( He is very excited to go to "big" school.

Betsy, Burlon and Travis came to visit last weekend. They got here around 1:30 Saturday morning. I was the only one up when they got here, so we waited for Ashley and Cody to get home. Ashley got home around 2am from work and Cody about 2:30am. He went fishing with a friend and his parents.

We got up early Saturday morning and went to Brady's 10am game. After Brady's game we went to the outfield and setup the canopy that Betsy & Burlon had brought to shield us from the sun. We watched Cody play at 12. Near the end of the game, Betsy, Sam, Brady and I ran to Burger King for lunch. We brought it back and ate while waiting for Sam's 3:15 game.

After the games we came home and changed clothes and went to the river. Burlon had brought his fishing gear and fished while the boys went exploring. When they got done, the went to see what grandpa was up to. They all got to fish and really enjoyed it. I know that grandpa enjoyed it too even though they didn't catch much and through what they did catch back in the water.

After the river we came home and cooked dinner and watched a movie.

They left around noon on Sunday.

Cody had a game on Tuesday and Sam had his last game on Thursday night. Here are a few pictures of Sam and his team:

Sam and Cody's age group don't get trophies.
Brady is sitting on the coaches lap. He just loves Coach Art!!

Friday, my office closed at 3 so I picked up Brady early and came home. Lee had been on a field trip to the Alamo so he got home around 5. About 6:30 we took the boys to the pool. Ashley had a band concert that night so we came home and I got ready to leave. Ashley drove Lee's car to the concert because she had to go to work afterwards. When the concert was over and before I left she called and said that the car wouldn't start. I drove the van to the area of the parking lot that she was at and checked the car. The battery was completely dead. She says that she didn't leave anything on. Not one adult came over to help us but there were about 5 high school guys that came to the rescue. They hooked the battery cables to the car and as soon as they did all the lights came on. We got the car started and she headed to work. Here are some pictures of the concert:

Saturday morning, Lee and the boys went to a basketball tournament for the boot campers, Ashley went to work at 9am and I took Brady to his last T-ball game. After the game they received their trophies, a baseball shaped bag with goodies from the coach and snow-cones from another coach. Here a some pictures:

This morning we got up and Lee took the boys to the river. I stayed here and made lunch and did some cleaning. After nap, Ashley went to work at 4 and I took the boys to the pool. Lee stayed at home because he is in the beginning stages of a cold. He has been sneezing and says that his throat hurts. He ended up coming to the pool to watch:

Sam's baseball coached call this evening and told us that Sam made the "All Stars". He begins practice on Tuesday and the tournaments begin this weekend. Another month or so of baseball.
Registration for summer basketball is beginning so we will be getting them registered soon.

We are all looking forward to our camping trip in June.

I believe that I have captured all that has happened in our busy lives.

Hope everyone is good. Love ya!!
