Busy

This week hasn't been to busy with baseball. We had a few practices and 3 games.
Sunday, Brady started getting sick. He said that his "brain" hurt. He began throwing up around 9 pm that night. Lee stayed home with him on Monday because he was running a fever and still throwing up. I had to stay home on Tuesday with him and Sam. Sam woke up saying his stomach hurt and Brady was still running fever although he hadn't thrown up anymore. By 1 pm, they both were feeling much better. Wednesday, everyone was feeling good and went to school and daycare.
Thursday was "bring your child to work" day. Sam and Cody went with me. They were served breakfast tacos, fresh fruit, donuts and juice for breakfast in the conference room. They had little bounded packets and name tags. They got to watch a power point presentation explaining what we do at ASM. After that they took a tour of our office and went outside to play. For lunch, they were given pizza and salad. After lunch, most of the girls helped file and all the boys got to clean our storage room. We keep all of our food samples in their so the mice don't get to them. The boys reorganized the room and took out all empty boxes. They did a wonderful job. We left work at 4 since Sam had a game at 5:30. We stopped and got Brady from daycare and had to stop back by the house to get Sam's cleats. I remembered to pack his uniform so he could change at my work but forgot the cleats. Lee met us at the game.
Friday Brady had a game at 5:30.
Saturday, I got up at 7 am to get ready to head to the Woodlands for Lindseys funeral. Bea and Sam (from work) came to the house so I could drive and we left at 7:50 am. After getting gas we began the 3 hour trip. 8 other people from work were also going in 3 different vehicles, so we would call eachother from time to time just to let everyone know where we were. We stopped in Katy to eat breakfast and made it to the church by 12. Visitation was from 12:30-1:30 with the service beginning afterward. After the service, we went to the graveside service and then headed home. We stopped at Taco Bell in Columbus and got home about 7 pm.
I woke up today feeling totally horrible. I now have a cold. Lee had went into work about 8 am. I got up and cleaned and then laid on the couch. Lee got home around 3 pm and we took a nap. After nap, they went to the playground and I cooked dinner. We watched a movie and here I am. Ashley just got home from work and is telling me about her day and what she has to do tommorrow.
On the 30th, I get to go register Brady for Kindergarten. YEAH!!!
We have a few practices this week but nothing major. The kids have TAKs so it will be a pretty easy week.
Hope everyone is well. Love ya!!

I'm catching up on my blog reading during lunch. I am so sorry about your friend. I thanked God that the your car was fixed when I read that you two had been carpooling. Just the thought that you could have been with Lindsey was scary.

I don't know how you keep all the ball schedules straight!

Love,
