Car update and baseball

It seems like baseball is all we do now. Everyday of the week, there is something going on. Cody is doing great on his team. He has made friends and doesn't seem so uncomfortable. Sam pitches like a pro and really enjoys playing. Brady, well, he is just Brady. He does his own thing.
Ashley is still working at Taco Bell. She takes her job very seriously and loves it.

Tuesday and Wednesday, I was in San Antonio for a Trade show. It was my first one and was a wonderful experience. We are a broker for some of the big Manufacturers, so we had booths set up with products from the different manufacturers (along with other brokers). The buyers for convenience stores would come by our booths and look at the products that we had and place orders. The items that they order will now be items that they will carry in all of their stores. Good business for us since we get commission off of them.

Thursday, we picked up Lee's car. $2600 worth of work, but now it is running great!! YEAH!!!

Also on Thursday, we found out that one of our dear friends and coworkers was in a serious car accident on the way to work. She was on life support in ICU. We all took turns going in groups on Friday to the hospital and saying our goodbyes. It was a very emotional day at the office for all of us. She passed away Saturday morning at 5:30. She was 23 and had only been working with us since June. She was such a wonderful person. Her funeral is going to be in Houston sometime this week so there are a bunch of us planning on going. These past few days, have been real hard on me. I had been riding with her to and from work while Lee's car was in the shop. I really miss her!!

Other than the above, things are good here. Sam will be the big "10" tomorrow. Where did the time go?? He is becoming such a wonderful little man.
