Getting ready for Christmas

Last weekend I spent alot of time putting up the Christmas decorations. Saturday evening Lee had a parade in Smithville with the bootcamp, so me and the boys decorated.

The boys, especially Brady who tries to ride it, love the deer. Thank you Grandma!!

Sunday morning we got up and went and picked out a tree. Lee was at football practice and Ashley was at work so we waited to put on the ornaments until they get home.

Monday night, Lee had flag football playoffs. The first game was at 8pm. They won that game because the referee realized that the team that was scheduled to play only had a few of their original players and the rest of the players were from other teams that didn't make it to the playoffs. So, they played at 9pm. They lost that game but did receive a trophy for runner-up. The juveniles were all so excited!!! I thought Lee was going to bust with excitement.
We didn't do much of anything the rest of the week.
Friday night we took the boys to Sights and Sounds. It is along the San Marcos river and there are alot of interesting things. They have a carnival, tents with crafts for sale, the little town of Bethlehem with camels, donkeys, and goats. Brady enjpyed all of the animals and was able to pet them all. After that we came home and watched movies.
Saturday was uneventful. Today, Lee went to work because they were having a bbq for all of the football team.
It is so hard to believe that Christmas is 16 days away. The boys are real excited (Cody knows about Santa) but Sam and Brady still believe. I found a website where they could email Santa with their wishlist. Sam wished for a new TV (theirs is beginning to really have problems) and Brady only wanted toys. They receieved an email back from Santa yesterday.
Not much else has happened.
Love ya!!
