The week of Memorial day was just crazy!! Tuesday night, Brandy and I went to the party supply store and bought stuff for the party. Wednesday night I began freaking out because I couldn't find the cord to my camcorder. I finally found it, only after I stressed Lee and the kids out:)
I took off Thursday afternoon to attend Sam's 5th grade graduation. He got commended on his Science TAKS and made the A/B honor roll for the year. I thought I had taken pictures, but I can't find them. At least I did video tape it.That afternoon, I came home and began the cleaning process. We also mowed and weed eated the yard.
Friday morning, I got the kids ready and put them on the bus. I came back home, woke up Lee and took a shower. Betsy and Burlon arrive and we head to Brady's graduation which begins @ 8:30:
After the graduation, Lee goes went to work. I go to Sam's end of year party and Grandma and Grandpa go to Brady's (that's how he wanted it). When we are all finished up there, Grandpa takes Sam and Brady to Hobby Lobby and lunch while Betsy, Brandy and I go shopping for the party.
We came home and began cutting up the vegetables for the burgers and making the patties. Later in the afternoon, Shawn and his fiance, Emily arrived. We all kinda hung out until it was time to get ready.
We arrived at Graduation about 7:45 and found a seat and waited.
After graduation, Ashley goes with some friends and we come home. Shawn, Emily, Betsy, Burlon, Sam and Brady all head to the hotel.
Saturday morning, I get up early and we begin setting up the canopies and tables. Lee and Travis fire up the grills and begin cooking.

We had to cut the party short because the boys had basketball playoffs at 3:15 in Georgetown. All our guests left and we headed to the game around 1:45. Betsy, Burlon and Travis came with us. We won that game and made it to the next bracket.
We all came home and got ready to go swimming. After swimming, Betsy, Burlon and Travis headed home and I did the last of the cleanup. Sunday, we had the next playoff game at 12. We lost that game so we didn't advance. The boys ended up with medals.
This past week has been very relaxing. I have been able to walk every night except Friday. Saturday Betsy and Burlon came to celebrate Cody's birthday. Betsy and I took the boys swimming and then we all went to dinner. We came home and Lee, Betsy and I played Cody and Sam in a game of basketball. The old people won!!! We watched a movie and then headed to bed.
Sunday morning we were up early to go to Schlitterbahn. Every summer, Taco Bell has employee appreciation and since Ashley works there, her, Lee and I got in free and we paid half price for the boys. We arrived at 8 and got registered. Brandy and her family went with us. The kids had so much fun!! We didn't leave there until the park closed at 8pm. We were exhausted and pretty much went bed after showers.
I was off on Monday because originally, that is when we were supposed to go. I am glad that we went Sunday. I was so sore when I woke up Monday morning. We spent a lazy day around the house and went and played basketball later in the evening.
Today it was back to work.
