Finally an Update:)

I know that I haven't posted in a while. I can't say that I have been too busy, just kinda lazy and enjoying the time off in between sports.

The last weekend in February, the boys had their last basketball game at the Activity center. It really is Cody's last game there, as he will be too old to play next season. Friday night Brandy, Ashley and I went to Best Buy to pick up a new TV and stand for another friend (Tammy) of ours (Brandy has a truck) and we delivered it to her in Lockhart. We helped her get everything setup and then headed home. Tammy gave me her 27 inch Tv since the one in my room died a while ago and her old entertainment center. It is only a few years old and I have wanted it since the first time I saw it. We got home and unloaded the goods and then just rested.
I got up early on Saturday morning and took Ashley to order her graduation stuff. When we got home, Betsy and Burlon were here. We all went out to lunch and then Lee, Burlon, Cody, and Nate (the neighbor) went to watch the Texas State Rugby team play. The rest of us came home and chilled. When the guys got home, Lee took a little nap while Betsy helped me get the new entertainment center set up. It makes a big diference in here. They boys game was at 6 so we soon headed out. After the game, Betsy and Burlon Left. We came home and didn't do much.
Sunday we went to the playscape for a Birthday party of a little girl whose mother works with Lee. We ended up taking 2 of the neighbor kids and all of them had a blast.
Thursday was Lee's birthday. I was a little disappointed because I was going to stop on the way home and get him a cake, but when he called me, he told me that they had gotten him a humongous cake at work and he was bringing it home.
This past weekend, we got up Saturday and went to the river. We took the dogs so they could run and we just walked all around. The river has dried up so we got to walk in places that we normally couldn't. We came home, ate some lunch and then took a nap. Saturday evening, Brandy and I went to HEB to get stuff for hamburgers and potato salad. We ate dinner, and then gave Lee the birthday cakes that we made for him. We sang Happy Birthday and he blew out the candles. We then played cards.
Lee worked for a little while on Sunday and I cleaned. When he got home he took the boys to play basketball.
This week i have spent getting things ready for Sam's school trip. Every year the 5th graders get to go to Camp Champions (Marble Falls) for a few days. He leaves in the morning and will be back on Friday afternoon. I worry about Sam because he is a little chicken. He hates scary movies and gets scared easily. Also, it is supposed to be in the 40's here on Thursday so I am worried that he will get cold. I am not sure if those cabins have heaters. I know, i sound over protective, but.... I am a mommy:)
Tommorrow, I am taking Cody to the oral surgeon. He was suppose to go on the 28th but the doctor cancelled. The closest appointment I could find for the dentist is April 1st. I called over ten dentists and they were all booked until then.

Brady has been in trouble at school almost everyday for the past week. He has even had to go to the principals office for acting up on the bus. We have punished him but nothing has seemed to work. I warned him yesterday that he came home on any color other than purple or green, I was going to spank him. I was hoping that threatening a spanking would deter him from being bad. Well, he was on yellow, so I had to follow through when I got home. I think it hurt me more than him cause he didn't even cry. He did come home on green today though, so hopefully it worked.
Not much else to report. As you can tell, we are all doing good.

Poor Sam!! Of all the nice weather weeks we have had - and he has to go this weekend with the cold and rain. He'll probabaly have memories that will last longer than nice weather memories. Reading your schedule, I can see why you are tired!! On Brady, you just have to remember that you not really punishing him, you are helping him to develop into a fine young man. That's what parents do! Toughest job on earth! Still have trouble thinking about Ashley being a senior!
