We have finally started to get back into our normal routine of things after the holidays.
The kids went back to school on the 6th and they were ready. Cody returned to basketball practice that same day and has had tournaments the past 2 weekends along with his games on Thursdays.
Last weekend Betsy and Burlon came to watch Cody play basketball. He had a game at 4:30 on Friday and then at 8:30 Saturday morning. He did really well. They left pretty early on Saturday morning. We all took naps and then me and the boys went to the grocery store. We had a BBQ with Brandy's family that evening and then played cards.
The kids received their report cards last Monday. Ashley had all A's, Cody had A's & B's, Sam had A's, B's and 1 C and Brady is right on schedule with his learning. We are so proud of them.
Wednesday night, Cody and Sam had basketball practice at the Activity center. Their games began on the 24th. Brady decided that he didn't want to play this time.
Thursday night, Cody had a game. He made 3-3 point shots and 3-2 point shots for a total of 15 points. We were so excited. They even announced it over the intercom at school the next day.
Friday, he had a tournament in Cedar Creek. He scored 7 points. Saturday we had to be back in Cedar Creek at 9:30 am for another game. He scored 5 points that game. They have lost all of the tournament games but they are not discouraged.
Ashley has applied to Texas State and West Texas A&M. She has been filling out scholarship information. It is still so hard to believe that she is a senior. She is not working at all now and we are enjoying her being home.
Work is good for both Lee and I. We continue to stay busy with the boys and their sports.
Love ya!
Merry Christmas!!

Happy Birthday!!!
I hope Cody is feeling better - and good luck on the working out. I'm trying to start it up - but man, its hard to drag myself to the gym! I'm glad you have a partner to go with you!
