These past few weeks have been busy for us.
We headed to Wharton Thanksgiving morning for the family get together. We stopped by the hospital first to see Lee's dad. We then went to the church. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving meal, that was prepared by everyone. Lee and the boys had fun playing basketball. We had a really good time visiting with family we haven't seen in quite a while. All the little ones were so sweet. We stayed overnight and Friday morning went back to the church to visit some more. We left around 3 to come home and got home around 5. I went and got dinner and then we sat around and watched a movie.
Saturday, Brandy, Allisa, Brady and I went to the Blue Santa Christmas parade in Austin. Afterwards, we went to Hobby Lobby to pick up a few craft supplies and then went and had lunch. After we got home, Brady and I took a little nap. Later that evening, Brandy and I went to get the kids pizza and then her, Dan, Lee and I went to dinner. It was Dan's birthday Tuesday. We were only gone for about 2 hours and we laughed that 4 grown adults couldn't find much else to do. The kids were also suprised that we came home so early. We ended up at their house playing cards.
Tuesday night we had Ashley's winter band concert. It started at 9pm and then we picked up the tamales that she sold (i sold).
Wednesday night, I had my Christmas party for work. It was at the Hyatt Lost Pines, close to Bastrop. It is so beautiful there!! Brandy and I got home around 10:30.
Thursday, we had the Duck Tour with work in Austin. It is a tour of Austin and then it goes into Town Lake, we actually drove into the lake. I was a little skeptical at first but then realized it was kinda fun. Here is the link for those of you who want to see: www.austinducks.com . After the tour, we headed to El Arroyo for dinner. Brandy was a little baffled that the company paid for all of this:) We ended up getting home around 8. Cody had a basketball game that night and I was a little upset that I had to miss it but he was fine with it.
Friday night was spent chilling.
Saturday, Lee had football games with the bootcamp and then a parade in Smithville at 7 that evening. Me and the boys cooked dinner with Brandy and then we worked on some Christmas crafts.
Today, I cleaned a little and with the help of Lee got the Christmas lights hung on the roof. I put out the raindeer and candy canes. I will take some pictures later.
Not much else going on.
Hope all is well.
Love ya!
Merry Christmas!!
