Monday night, Lee had a game at 8pm. Me and the boys left for the game around 7:15 and stopped at McDonalds for dinner. Brandy and her family met us at the game. It is nice having them there because they help me look after Brady. Afterwards we came home and the boys bathed and went to bed.
Tuesday, Cody had a game. His team won 6-0. Cody didn't get much playing time, not sure why, I guess I will have to learn to live with him sitting the bench sometimes. After the game we went to Whatabuger and then headed home.
Brandy started work on Tuesday. She came to the house around 6:45am and we took 2 of her kids and Brady and Sam to the bus stop. Once they got on the bus we headed to work. Cody and Ben (her oldest) don't leave for the bus until 7:15 so Ben comes over and him and Cody walk together.
Wendesday, Lee picked the boys up from practice and I was already home. I went to get groceries since I didn't have time Monday or Tuesday.
Thursday, Lee had practice so Brandy and I picked up the boys on our way home from work. Brady stayed with Dan until we got home.
Friday, was Brady's 6th birthday. WOW!! Where did the time go?? Cody, Sam & Nate had flag football practice so again Brady stayed with Dan until we got home. We watched a movie and Ben and Nate stayed the night.
Saturday we were up early for the flag football game at 9am.

After the game, Lee had to go into work for a while so me and the boys came home and I did some cleaning since we were having a BBQ for Brady's birthday. Everyone started arriving at 6pm and we had a great time. Below is what Cody and Ben drew on the sidewalk for Brady's birthday.
We ate and then did the cake and presents:

After a few people left, Brandy, Dan, Lee and I started playing spades. Dan and Lee make a great team. We played 2 games to 500 and they beat us both times. Around midnight, they went home. I fell asleep on the couch waiting for Ashley to come home and then went to bed when she got here.
Today, I did the usual cleaning and even got some of the boxes out of my bedroom. My walk in closet is so full of Lee's books that I had to stack the boxes in a corner of our room. I finally went through some of the boxes and was able to stack a few in the closet. We desperatly need to get bookshelves for the bedroom. I am thinking that we need 5-6 to make a dent in the books. We have 1 wall in our room that we have nothing on, so they could go there. Then I can put the rest of the boxes in the closet.
Saturday, we are having family pictures taken in the morning. Another one of my neighbors is going to school for photograpy and has an awesome camera. She is going to do it for free so she can get the practice. She is even going to take Ashley's senior pictures. She will put all of the pictures on a disk for us and then we can go through and pick out our favorites and have them printed. We have a game at 1pm and then the rest of the day is free.
Cody & Ashley got their 3 week progress reports from school this week. Cody had all A's and 1 B (99 in Texas History). Ashley had all A's. I am so proud of these 2, I teared up while looking at the progress reports. Sam & Brady should bring theirs home tomorrow.
