Last weekend was pretty uneventful. We took the boys swimming at the pool, to the river and not much else. Saturday evening I went over to my friends house to help her start packing for her move (she is getting a divorce). I took all the boys with me since she had her boys from her first marriage for the weekend. We ordered pizza and the boys enjoyed playing together since they haven't seen eachother in a while.
This week Lee and I have been doing our walking and are still watching what we eat. I weighed myself on Tuesday and have lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks. Still have many many more to go but I will make it!!
Wednesday I took off work because Cody had an orthodontist appointment and an appointment for his sports physical. I found out that his orthodontist is no longer covered on my dental insurance so I now have to find him a new one before we start the work on his braces. He weighed in at 139 pounds and is 5'3. Big stocky boy! He got 2 shots, which did not make him very happy:)
Friday afternoon, I got off at noon because of our summer hours and headed over to my friends house again to pack some more. We ended up taking 3 van loads of stuff to the new place and got alot accomplished. I brought home a set of bunkbeds that she no longer wanted so now the boys have a twin bed and bunkbeds in their room. Enough beds for all 3. Now to just get Brady to sleep in his own bed:) I got home around 9, took a shower and died on the couch.
Saturday, Lee, the boys and I got up at 6am and headed back to her house. We were the only ones who could help her, and believe me, we did almost all of the work! I must have lost 10 pounds with all the lifting and sweating:) Her soon to be ex volunteered at work that morning to get out of it. She and I dropped her twin 3 yr old girls off at the baby sitters and went and got the moving van, which I had to drive. We got back to the house and I had Lee back the moving van in. Poor Lee, she has a cat and by the time we got back to her house, he was standing outside wheezing. I gave him a claritin and we set back to work. By 10am we had everything loaded and were headed to the new place with Lee driving the moving van. We got everything unloaded and most of the stuff put where it belonged by 11:30. In the old house and the new apartment, all of the bedrooms are upstairs, I must have went up and down the stairs at least 100+ times during the weekind. What a workout!!!! We left there around 12 and headed home to shower. We had 2 basketball games at 2pm. Sam and Brady. I ended up sitting in the middle so I could watch both. We came home and took a power nap because we had to leave around 6 for Cody and Sam's game. Sam plays on 2 teams. One his age level and he plays up in Cody's league. Crazy, I know!
Today has been mostly cleaning and getting ready for the week. Cody's baseball coach called Friday night and said that they were having an end of the season party tonight (a little late). I took Cody and he got to go swimming, they had pizza and soda and he got a trophy. Their team placed second for the season. YEAH!!
The 28th we are headed to Houston to watch the Astros. Lee was given 7 tickets and since Ashley could care less, we asked Betsy and Burlon to go with us. I had wanted to get a motel that night since it will be late, but Lee informed me that he has a ceremony on the 29th that the mayor will be at so he has to go and it is at 9:30 am. Oh well, I plan to be sleeping in that morning since I was smart enough to take it off:)
I have been taken pictures but I can't download them until I get a new computer cord. Our wonderful new puppy decided to chew it in half. I thought it was put where he couldn't get it, but I think one of the boys knocked it onto the floor. Oh well, things happen. I will post as soon as I have time to go to the store and buy a new one!
Hope all is well!
Love ya!!
Merry Christmas!!
