Baseball and Schlitterbahn

Saturday we were up at 7 am getting ready for the baseball game at 9 am. We had to be there by 8 to get the bat bags and helmets and for the boys to practice. Here are some pictures of Sam:
The helmet is new and all of the boys have matching ones. They have their numbers on the back, but they peel off so they can use them next season.

We won both games on Saturday so we had a game at 11am on Sunday. We got to the field about 10:15 and warmed up.

After the 11 am game we all loaded up and went to Luby's for lunch. We had another game at 3pm. We lost the first game of the day but won the second. We ended up in 3rd place for this tournament. We finally got home around 5.

Monday we got up early and headed to Schlitterbahn. I didn't take the camera because I was scared it would either get stolen or wet. We had a great time. Brady was all over the place and not scared of any of the rides. He even went down the ride that comes off the side of the castle by himself. He refused to wear a life jacket and would get mad when I tried to hang on to his shirt in the wave pool. He is such a big boy now!! We left there around 4 and just lounged on the couch.
Today I rode a ride to work with a friend since the car is still in the shop. The mechanic called me around one and told me it was ready. They said that there was a loose wire by the ignition coil and it starts great. They only charged me the $35 for the tow, $50 for the labor and $14.50 for the inspection I had them do since it was out in April and Lee never notices those things. So all in all it was $99.50. I had my friend drop me off there after work. I drove it to pick up Brady and was going to come home. I got Brady in the car and it wouldn't start. I called the mechanic who sent his wife to come get us and bring us home. They were suppose to go get it sometime tonight from the daycare and take it back to the shop. I am so tired of dealing with this car but don't want another car payment:(
I mentioned in my last post that I had applied for another position, well, I actually applied for 2 so keep me in your prayers.
This week is going to be alot less busy. Sam had practice tonight and again tomorrow and then we are done till sometime next week. Whew!! I am ready for a break!
