Feeling Better

Things haven't been too bad since my last post.

Friday night after work I went to the hospital in Austin to see a co-worker friend. She had a blockage by her heart and some kidney issues. She is fine and back to work. When I got home, me and Lee took advantage of Ashley being off work and we went to Chili's (Thank you Travis and Shawn for the gift cards!!) while the kids ordered pizza. We were only gone for about 2 hours but it was good to get away alone.

On Saturday, Lee went to work around 8am and Ashley had to be to work at 10am. After getting her off to work, I did some cleaning around the house. After I finished up in here, I gave the van a major makeover. I cleaned out all the toys, trash, clothes and blankets. I then got a bucket full of soapy water and began cleaning the inside. I couldn't believe how gross it was in there. There were things in the cup holders in the very back that could probably now be used for some kind of experiment. Once I got the inside clean, me and the boys began to wash it. They thought it was funny to walk in front of the hose while i was trying to rinse it off. So, I sprayed them a few times and sent them in for baths. It was in the 60's here but still a little chilly. Lee came home around 2 and we took a nap.

Lee went in again Sunday morning and I woke up feeling blah. I laid on the couch most of the day in my pj's while the boys watched a movie or played playstation.

Sam is feeling 100% better and went back to school on Monday. Monday night all the boys had basketball practice and Ashley had band.

Tuesday, I picked Brady up from daycare and took him to the dollar store to get a special prize. He has been sleeping in his own bed since Sunday. Last night was the only night he ended up in our bed before morning. OK, I can deal with that. This is all mine and Lee's fault for allowing him to sleep with us from the beginning. We are so ready to have our own bed back:) After the dollar store we picked up McDonalds and came home to watch American Idol.

Yesterday, i went grocery shopping when i got off work. I took Cody and Sam with me because they each had $20 to spend. We got pizza, came home, unloaded the groceries and just chilled the rest of the night.

Tonight, Lee didn't get home until almost 7. The past 3 days he has had meetings in Austin so when he gets back to the facility each day, he has to check and make sure everything is alright. I made meatball subs and we watched a movie. I am getting ready to pick up Ashley from work and come home and get in bed.
