Alot of news!!

First of all, I would like to start off by apologizing for not keeping our blog current.

Now, things have been really busy for us these past few weeks. Some of you know that we have decided to by a double wide within a mobile home community. It is not the "big" house that I had dreamed of but, we are very happy with our decision. It is 3 bedroom, 2 bath and has alot of room. It is only 232 square foot bigger than the apartment that we were in but the way that this is laid out, it seems bigger. Here are some pictures so you can get an idea.

The community is gated and has a pool, a big clubhouse that you can rent for $25 for any kind of event, a 24 hour fitness room, big playground, and basketball courts.

So, we have been packing and moving. We are all moved in and most things are where they belong. My room is the messiest of all since everything that didn't belong in the kitchen or living room is stacked in there. It is amazing how much stuff we have accumulated over 12 years:)
We don't have as much storage as we did but we intend to buy a storage shed after Christmas. We also have to buy a lawn mower and weed eater. The boys want new bikes for Christmas so we definately need a storage building to store all of this stuff.
We also intend on expanding the front deck but that can wait until summer. I think we should have a "deck building party"!!
We are only about 1/2 mile from where we were living so the kids are going to the same schools (we wouldn't have moved if the schools were different).
The kids are all doing well in school and love the new place. We had to give up 2 of our dogs (actually only 1 but I made the decision to get rid of the other) They both went to really good homes. One of them has his own dogster page (I believe it is like myspace for dogs:) Mya, the one left is loving life. No fighting over food and she gets all of the attention. She even made the trip to Wharton this past weekend and acted like a little lady (she is very possesive at home and will snip at people she doesn't know). We let her run around Granny's yard and she had no problem with anybody that came walking up for the yardsale. I guess she knew that she was not the boss there:)
Work is going good for both Lee and I. He has been working 12 hour days this week because they are having a TDCJ (state) inspection. There is alot of paperwork involved.
Ashley is still working at Taco Bell. This is the last week for Band practice and the last football game is this Friday. After band is over, her managers at Taco Bell want her to become a team lead. She will go up to $7.85 an hour and work 25-30 hours per week. Not much different than when she worked and went to Band. As long as her grades don't fail, we will let her do it. That means she can pay off what she owes for the car faster. She is such a wonderful kid.
OK, I think I have babbled long enough and probably be putting more stuff away.
I will post more later this week.
Love ya!!

Wow! The house looks fantastic. With the club house, pool, park, etc, we could have one the family reunions there when we can't get the church's gym! I am very happy for you guys.
