Busy weekend

Friday I had to get a ride to and from work. On the way home, a friend that I work with wanted to go to Sam's club here in San Marcos, so I rode with her. We stopped by the daycare and got Brady then headed to the store. Lee and the boys were at football practice. After we finished at Sam's club she dropped me off back home. Lee and the boys arrived shortly after so he took them swimming while Ashley and I went to get groceries and dinner. We had a good talk along the way and she realizes that we are not mad about the accident just that she didn't tell us the whole truth. Saturday morning Lee went into work around 7, the Sherriff's dept. was having a softball tournament so Lee volunteered some of the juveniles to help. He came home around 9am to pick me and the boys up for Cody & Sam's football game. Their team won 3-1. I didn't get to see much of the game, I was either taking Brady to the restroom or watching to make sure he didn't wander off. Afterwards, I took Lee, Cody and Sam back to the tournament and Brady and I went to get some lunch and pay the cell phone bill. We also stopped by the shop where the car is. I wanted to see the damage in the daylight. It looked about the same. They have the front tire on and the guy told me that they are going to have to replace the back rim. He showed me underneath the car where she messed up the back strut, brake line, muffler and tie bar. We also talked about replacing the back taillight that has a hole in it (not from the accident though). There are 2 little dents on the drivers door, I think that is where the mailbox hit and the back fender by the tire is dented in. He said that he can take a heat gun and pull that back out. We are now looking at close to $1000. Brady and I came back to the house and left at 3 to go get the guys. Lee had told me that Brady's game was at 4. We get to the field and see Brady's coach. Apparently the game was at 1. When Lee looked at the schedule for some reason he thought that Brady's team were the eagles not the seahawks. Lee felt terrible, so he brought Cody, Sam and I home and took Brady with him back to the tournament. They got home around 7. Ashley went to San Antonio yesterday. The school band was playing at the Alamo Dome. She got home around 12 and stayed at her friend Kayla's house who lives right across from us. I found out that since she missed practice on Thursday that she didn't get to march last night and I was a little irratated. She had a valid excuse for missing practice Thursday. Lee worked the tournament again today and got home around 4. I took Ashley to work. We took the boys swimming and then ate dinner. I tried something new tonight (new for us). I bought the already made meatballs and simmered them in spaghetti sauce. We put the meatballs in sub rolls with some mozzarella cheese. They loved it!!! We will be doing those again in the future.
