Our Weekend

We didn't do a whole lot this weekend.

Friday night we took the boys swimming. After that, Cody and Sam stayed at a friends house and Ashley was at work. She called at 10:30 to see if she could work until midnight. She called again at 11:45 (notice that I am getting ready to walk out the door to pick her up) asking if she can stay with Bridgette (a friend that also works at Taco Bell). That leaves just Brady, daddy and mommy. All in all it was a quiet evening.

We had basketball games on Saturday. Cody & Sam's was at 10 am. Sam made 1 basket and Cody made 4. Their team won 45-12. Brady's game was at 11 am (it is very rare that their games are back to back, we usually end up coming home in between games) He played very well and scored 1 basket (to hear him tell it, he was the "star player". Lee had gone into work that morning and met us at the game. After the game, he went back to work and we came home. I cooked lunch and then Brady and I took a nap. We woke up with daddy in the bed with us. After nap we took the boys swimming. Ashley is still with her friend. She gets home around 10pm. We stay up pretty late watching movies.

Today was pretty quiet also. Ashley had to be to work at 11 am so I take her and come home where Lee is sitting on the couch telling me to cook him some lunch. He also calls me old lady. Today is our 12th anniversary so he says that he has now earned the right. HAHA!!! Guess who made his own lunch. After dinner Lee and I went for a drive and to sonic for some ice cream. We also went walking down by the river. Very inexpensive but it was also very relaxing. We hardly ever get out by ourselves. That was our "date". We plan on going to dinner on Tuesday night.

I have to take the van to the shop on Tuesday, the air conditioner has been out for quite some time and it is miserable driving home from Austin everday. Ashley also has an eye appoinment on Tuesday.
