Our Weekend

Overall, we had a pretty lazy weekend. Friday night, Betsy, Burlon and Travis came up and we hung out until about 11pm. Then Cody, Sam & Brady went and stayed with them at the motel and Travis stayed here with us. Saturday morning they came and we talked and played some games. Later on we went swimming and back to their motel. We then came back here and Travis and Burlon cooked us up a delicious supper. We just hung out until they were ready to go back to the motel. Sam is the only one who went back with them. While Lee, Travis and Cody watched movies or played playstation (Ashley was at a friends), Brady and I decided to go to bed at 10:30. That is the earliest I have been to bed in weeks. With Ashley working at Taco Bell until 11, I usually don't get to bed after midnight. We must have needed the sleep because we didn't get up until almost 10 this morning. Betsy, Burlon and Sam came strolling in around 11 and we played some cards and watched TV. They left about 2.
The kids really love for them to come and visit.
The boys begin basketball practice this week. Brady starts tomorrow and Cody & Sam on Thursday. I am going to see how Brady does at practice and if he is not into it I may pull him out. Last time he thought it was more fun to hide behind the basketball goal or hit and push on the other kids. I am hoping this time will be different.
For those of you who don't know yet, Brady lost his first tooth Tuesday night. He was so proud and couldn't wait for the tooth fairy. The tooth fairy brought him a dollar and he decided to buy a playstation game from his dad (dad was such a good sport for selling it to him for $1)
