Not mush happened this week. Cody and Sam began basketball practice on Thursday. Brady starts on Monday. All the guys are getting haircuts tomorrow morning and then we are heading into San Antonio to go shopping. A pro-basketball player has his own line of shoes and no pair is over $14.98. He does this so that kids aren't fighting and killing eachother over a $100 pair of shoes. When I told the boys about it, that is where they wanted to get their basketball shoes. The closest store to us that sells them is in SA.
I started walking last night. I took Mya (our blue heeler) and she was either trying to stop and sniff everything along the way or pulling me along. I am going to try to walk every other evening to help lose some weight.
Brady has an appoinment on Wednesday for the speech pathologist. Sometimes I feel like he does have a speech impairment and other times he talks like a little man. I just want to get him checked out before he starts school next year since Sam had a speech problem that was found in Pre-k. If he does have a speech problem, I can get him into pre-k this year. It won't save me any money in daycare (only 13 months left of that cost) since pre-k is 1/2 day but it will help him adjust to big school. I am also taking Ashley to the eye doctor and I have a doctor's appointment that afternoon (just a check up). Somehow within the day she wants to go get her license. I keep putting it off because I am the one not ready, but I think she is getting pretty tired of my lame excuses.
It is hard to believe that shcool will be starting in about 6 weeks. I got groceries tonight and picked up a few of the supplies that they needed. I will pick up more each time I get groceries and hopefully get them all bought before school starts. Cody is going to be in the 6th grade, that makes me sad but what really makes me sadder is that Ashley will be a Junior. Gosh, I am so old:) Sam will be in the 4th and poor Brady will probably have to wait a year.
I think I have rambled on enough. I will post more later this weekend.
Merry Christmas!!

I am so excited you are doing this! It makes all of us so much closer - we can keep up with each others lives! And I have no idea how you handle it with four - with just one I am having troubles keeping up!
Love you all!
Wendy
