Monday night, Lee had a game. Brandy and I went for a 2 mile walk. Tuesday night the boys had practice and I took Ashley to get her check and get dinner. Wednesday Brandy and I took the kids to an Easter eggstravaganza at the Kyle park. There were age appropriate egg hunts, free games and food booths. The kids had a blast. Lee worked late. Thursday was practice again for the boys and Brandy and I went for another walk. Friday, we went to Brandy and Dan's and played cards. Saturday, Lee had to work. Betsy and Burlon came and we took the kids to another Easter egg hunt that the church had sponsored.

We were going to have a picnic at the park, but it was kinda chilly out so we came home and had our picnic inside. Lee was home when we got here and him and I took a nap. Betsy and Burlon took the boys to Walmart and gamestop. When they got back, we just hung out until it was time for me to go get Ashley and to wait for the boys game. They both had a good game, although we lost 37-43.
Heres a few pics taken before the game:

Look how tall Cody is, he is now taller than Lee, Me and Ashley and check out the hair, I call him mushroom head:)

The boys playing basketball:

After the game, we came home and ate. We went over to Brandy and Dan's and the kids and Lee (he couldn't resist all the fun) colored eggs.

After the eggs, the adults played cards and the kids either played legos or video games.
This morning, I got up early to put on the ham. I took Ashley to work and wanted to go by HEB to get the rolls that I forgot to buy last week. HEB was closed. So we ended up without any because I also needed to get eggs and couldn't make any from scratch. I finished all the cooking and Brandy and her family came over around 1 and we had a wonderful Easter dinner. After eating we all decided we were going to take an hour nap. After nap, we all went to the river.
Brady on the rope swing: NO FEAR:)

Sam on the rope swing:

This time, Dan and I were the only chickens that wouldn't get in the water. It is still to cold outside for me and granted even though they said that it was really warm when you get in the water, it was the getting out and standing in the wind that deterred me. We spent a few hours there and then we came home. I took the car to Brandy's and used there shopvac. We had a confetti egg war and both vehicles got pretty messy. I warmed up the left overs and got things ready for the week.
Ashley got her invitations, so look for one in the mail soon.
Love ya!!

I had a few minutes at lunch, so I thought I would check in on your family. Love the green eggs and ham. What a great mom. I'm with you - still to cold to get in the water, but it looked like they were having fun. I'm always amazed at how your boys are growing. Ashley still looks like sweet Ashley, but the boys change everytime I see them.
