Oral Surgery & West Texas A & M

Friday morning, Cody and I arrived at the Oral Surgeons at 10:45. He was finally taken to the back around 12. I was allowed to go with him while they got the IV started and put the mask on him then they made me go to the waiting room. They came and got me about 30 minutes later and took me to the recovery room where Cody was waiting. We sat there for 30 more minutes to make sure that he was fully awake and then they wheeled him to the car. He did very good and only has 2 stitches on each side of the roof of his mouth. They even gave him a little bag with his 3 teeth in it. I took him to get a milkshake and we came home. He took his antibiotic and the vicaden and sat on the couch. Although, he just had surgery and is taking pain medicine, he hasn't stopped. He even wanted to go play basketball that afternoon and I have had to make him take the pain medicine this weekend even though he says his mouth doesn't hurt. He walks around like nothing has happened. I believe that he has a high pain tolerance.

Saturday morning we got up and the guys got haircuts. Cody hasn't wanted one the past few times, but this time, I had them trim it and straighten it up. He wasn't happy about it even though you can barely tell it was even cut. After haircuts we went to the donut shop and got breakfast. Yesterday afternoon, I went and got groceries. Brandy's family came over for dinner and we watched a movie.

Some more exciting news: Ashley received the acceptance letter for West Texas A & M. She hasn't decided which college she is going to but it makes me proud that she has been accepted into both. I pray that she stays here so she is close, but I also would like for her to have the experiece of going away. Ultimately it is her decision and I will support her either way.

The kids are off this week for Spring break. We have nothing exciting planned since we both have to work. They will just play alot outside and drive their sister CRAZY!! She better enjoy it, this is her last summer home with them:)

Brady is doing better, he had 3 good days last week. I think that he was getting burned out and needed this break. We will see how much it helps when he goes back next week.

That is all of our news for now. Hope all is well with everyone.
Love ya!

Tell Ashley congrats. Oh course, we are pulling for any university with A&M in it :)
