Seems that our house has gotten the sick bug, again.
Last Wednesday, Brady woke up screaming and crying, saying that his neck hurt. I mean he was actually freaking out. I gave him some children's motrin and left him here with Ashley while I went to work for a few hours. She took very good care of him. She got him comfortable on the couch, fed him and put a heating pad on his neck. I came home around 10 and called the doctor's office again. I had already spoken to them twice that morning. I decided to go ahead and take him in. We got there for his 11:30 appointment. Keep in mind that the whole time, he is walking with his head tilted all the way to the right, resting on his shoulder:) The doctor came in and had him lay on the table. She moved his head around and felt the muscles and bones in his neck and shoulders. She said that he must have just slept on it wrong. That night Lee massaged his little neck. Thursday he was somewhat better, still complaining a little but he wanted to go to daycare for his Valentines party. I gave him some motrin that morning. Friday, he was all better.
I began to get a cold on Thursday but had to keep moving, there was too much to do at work.
Friday morning, on my way to work, the nurse from Sam's school calls and tells me that a kid threw up on the bus and some got on Sam's clothes. She asked if it was ok to give him some clean clothes and send him to class. I agreed since I was almost to Austin. I get to work and she calls me back and tells me that after questioning Sam some more, she finds out that it was Sam who threw up. I called Lee and he went and picked him up.
Saturday, everyone seemed to be better. We had games at 9, 11 & 3. After the 9 game we went and got breakfast and parked down by the river to eat. After the 11 game we came home and went back for the 3. We come home after that and took a nap. Saturday night I took some medicine and fell asleep on the couch around 9, Lee woke me up at midnight and told me to come to bed. I then slept until 10, Sunday morning. I am just now beginning to feel better.
I was off on Monday so Lee got the kids up and out the door and let me sleep. I woke up at 9 and watched a chick flick that we rented that Lee didn't really care to see. He came home at 12. I went and picked Brady up from daycare early. Lee took all the boys to the playground while I cooked dinner and straightened up the house.
Last night and tonight, have been pretty lazy. Ashley has been off work since Sunday and goes back tomorrow. Yesterday i had a conference call with her advisor and her. She has a 3.46 GPA and is right on schedule to graduate next year. We talked about the SAT which she is scheduled to take March 1st and her plans for the future. She has decided that she wants to be a teacher (I know that makes alot of you proud!) She hasn't decided where she wants to go though. We are so proud of her. She is very determined and hard working!!!!
That is all for now. I will try to take more pictures this weekend and post on Sunday.
Love yall!

Hope all are well now! The flu has gone around the Dallas area, but so far has missed us (I guess the flu shots work).
Tell Ashley that Gail will be happy to help her in anyway she can - and that TAMU has a GREAT education program!! She should be great at handling a class - see younger brothers are good for something!
Take care,
jean ann
