Friday night I took the kids to Walmart to get the school supplies that they were told they needed in addition to what we had already got. They also got their backpacks. Cody got a burnt orange one (wouldn't you know it) and Sam's is a yellowish orange. Brady ended up with some Star Wars toys instead of school supplies. We watched a movie and went to bed.
Saturday morning, Lee went into work for a little bit. When he got home, I went to get groceries. After I got home and we got them all unpacked, Lee and I took a nap. We stayed up late and watched 2 more movies and then went to bed.
Sunday wasn't anymore exciting. All we did was take a nap and then took the kids swimming.
Today, Lee went into work for a bit. While he was gone, I shampooed all the carpets, washed and folded clothes, cleaned spots on the walls and cleaned the kitchen really well. We cooked on the grill and got everything ready for tomorrow.
Not much has happened, it has been a very low key weekend. Tomorrow evening Brady has football practice. His team name is the Seahawks. I hope he does as well with football as he did with basketball. Cody & Sam have practice on Friday night. I am not sure when the games start but I know that they will be on Saturdays. I will post the schedule, when I receive it.
Below is pictures of Sam and Cody with Mack Brown (Longhorn Head Coach) that was taken on Longhorn appreciation day.
Notice that Cody looks like he is about to burst with excitement:)
And Sam is like "Who cares if it is Mack Brown"
The pictures didn't turn out real good, but they will always treasure them. I am thinking of trying to see what they look like blown up to an 8X10 and framing them.
Ashley has been working. Today after work she went to buy more school clothes. This is like her 10th time going. She has to have a new outfit for everyday for at least the first 2 weeks of school:) Boys are so much easier. They will try to wear the same thing 3 days in a row:)
That is all that has happened so far. I will try and post more later. Love ya!!
