Our little girl is driving on her own, basketball, visitors and a parade

First off, please notice the basketball schedule on the right. Cody wanted me to add this so everyone can see the progress of their games.

Friday Lee let Ashley take his car to band and then that night I let her take the van to meet some friends at the movies. After the movies, she went to Walmart to pick up a few things that she needed. She called me 4 times, telling me where she was.

Saturday morning Burlon & Betsy came to visit and watch the boys basketball games. Brady's was at 2. He must have been showing off because he scored 4 baskets during his game. I am still amazed that he is actually playing the game and not goofing off. Just ask grandma & grandpa how well he is doing. Cody & Sam's game wasn't until 5 so after Brady's we went to game stop and to McDonalds to get a cold drink. The boys played on the indoor playground while the adults sat and talked. We are making plans for a big road trip next summer which I am very excited because we are going to make a stop in NC so I can see my family. I just hope that we will be able to go because we are also going to be looking at buying a house next summer. Ashley had visited with grandma & grandpa in the morning and was going to go with her friend so she didn't come with us. Cody made a 3 pointer and 3-2 pointers. Sam made 1 basket. They won this game so now they are 3-0 for the season. Grandma & grandpa left right after the boys game. We watched some movies and then went to bed.

This morning Lee, Cody and Sam got up at 6am and went to Lee's work. They were taking some of Lee's bootcampers to be in a parade in Schulenburg. They won 1st place. Cody marched beside his dad and the other bootcampers while Sam decided he didn't want to walk that far and rode in the Dodge Charger behind them. Cody picked up alot of candy which he brought home for Brady. Brady and I got up and he played PS2 while I did some cleaning. I cooked us lunch and we took a little nap. Lee and the boys came home exhausted. Ashley had to be to work at 4:45 and took Lee's car. Lee took a nap while the boys played their playstation and x-box. Sam took a bath and fell asleep on the couch. Lee woke up and was watching TV while I cooked dinner. After dinner I was back here on the computer when someone knocked on the door. I opened it and was suprised to see Oliver. He just came by to visit. We had a wonderful visit with him although Brady climbed all over him and was constantly trying to get his attention, he didn't seem to mind. He showed us the new jeep that he bought and said that he will come by more often. I guess his job keeps him busy.

Lee is off work again tomorrow so Ashley will take his car to band and work. ( I am starting to get used to this now, it does have it's advantages) Brady has basketball practice @ 6:30. Another busy week...........
